About Instructor

Claire Toose

Claire is an experienced physiotherapist, dance teacher, choreographer and studio owner.

As a paediatric physiotherapist Claire has extensive training in physical assessment and remedial training. Her passion for integrating core stability training into performing arts education is grounded in her professional understanding that physical performance in all disciplines is enhanced and optimised by strengthening postural support, refining control of physical positioning, and building the appropriate endurance required to safely navigate rehearsal and performance, whatever your age.

Her dance studio, Creative Arts Studio, has a strong history for delivering high quality dance and drama training in supportive environments and directing large scale youth productions. She uses her experience as a performer, choreographer and director of stage productions, short films and live events to inspire all studio participants to become their best creative selves.

Claire is a Board Member for AusDance Industry and holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, post graduate BT-C specialty, Cert IV Dance Management and Teaching, Cert IV Training and Assessment.
