About Instructor

Christine Pringle

Christine Pringle has 30 years’ experience as a professional musician and passionate music educator. Christine has always had a predilection for beginner bands and has directed training bands in both primary and secondary schools. She enjoys the challenge and acknowledges the important role that beginner band conductors play in the early development of musicians. Her professional performing career as a French horn player included 20 years with the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra and Broadway shows such as Wicked, Phantom of the Opera and Mary Poppins. Christine was also a music educator through Musica Viva for 4 years. She is an experienced music educator, having tutored close to one thousand brass students across Sydney and directed successful school Training, Intermediate and Senior bands in a large number of primary and secondary schools. Christine has a Bachelor of Music and is currently completing her Masters in Education.
